New African Writing, sponsored by Global Information Network and Africa World Press will be held Apr 27, 2-4 p.m. at NYU's Africa House. Nigerian author/activist OGAGA IFOWODO to discuss his new book Madiba.

Global Information Network takes great pleasure in presenting renowned author Ogaga Ifowodo of Nigeria in a discussion of his new book Madiba.

Imprisoned during the regime of Gen. Sani Abacha for his outspoken criticism of that government, Mr. Ifowodo was the subject of a free expression campaign by PEN, the international writers' organization, and he received their prestigious Freedom-to-Write award in 1988.
